CTSW Council is made up of representatives from each of the seven churches in the town. They hold meetings every two months and an Annual Open Meeting in March of each year. The Clergy and Church Leaders also meet together for prayer and discussion.
CTSW is responsible for organising the annual Good Friday Service and Procession, Pentecost Praise, United Covenant Service and Agape Meal. They also organise the Christian Aid Lunches and Collections, Traidcraft, Primary schools - Assemblies & On-track Clubs, the annual summer Vacation Bible School, Services in the Hospital & Residential Homes, Youth Work, Social car service, Lent Group Courses, Christmas and Easter posters, and Information & Welcome leaflets.
Council members are also involved in other ecumenical events and Services - Advent Service, One World week, United Nations, Remembrance Sunday, Women's World Day of Prayer, Bible Society meetings and other activities.
